But I think if we are honest, we all have these moments where we put our wants above those of our children or spouses. While I know that God puts desires in our hearts and if we are in His will then it is fine. But there is a line that we must be mindful of. For me, I get super focused on the new shiny idea or plan and if I am not careful I will neglect other duties. I think the important thing to remember is balance. We as mothers and wives NEED time to be “Amy” and have “Amy” dreams come true. But we must stay close to God and continue to assess and make sure we are in His will and plan for our life.
For me this is something that I need to work through frequently. 🙂
