Last year our family received the blessing to visit Colonial Williamsburg for two days, and I’m so extremely thankful to God for making it possible. Father fulfilled my heart’s desire to travel to one of my favorite places. But on top of that, He threw in some special souvenirs besides the memories we would take back in our hearts. The souvenirs mentioned are so much more than objects; not to be kept on a shelf but rather cherished and paid forward! The gifts we brought back with us were the lingering flicker of faith left for us from those who are now long gone!

Will you receive the Gospel message?
Ones value and worth should not be praised at only the obvious times of one’s life which the world calls “milestones”. You know, I’m talking about the highlight reel of a person’s existence which Hallmark cards are made for!
Today, Mommy needed a day of rest according to Daddy & the children. My day of rest consists of prayer, digging into God’s Word, doing a study, listening to a message, journaling and corresponding with like minded people online all the while locked away in the bedroom.
Evangelize, Moms. It’s a must! Share my post if you don’t know how. But pray about learning for sure because it’s the command Jesus left with us! 🙂
As their mom, I am so proud of these little ones! They made little Gospel cards in order to hand them out in our neighborhood. Words are written inside them like “God loves you” and “Jesus died for you”!
I am thankful for trials, afflictions, sufferings & troubles in this life. And before you say “That’s crazy. She’s either nuts or lying”- Let me briefly tell you why I am thankful for the sufferings I’ve experienced- which have been many in my 39 years of life.
Oftentimes, I am eager to get the kids out into nature for a reprieve. Who doesn’t need a hiatus every now & again? A day sabbatical? A break from routine? You CAN have this very thing for yourselves. The only stipulation is that you have to prioritize it! For someone like me, no one has to twist my arm to “get me out of dodge”, so to speak! Since I am an introvert at heart I frequently crave autonomy when it comes to how I spend my/our time. I mean, I like to be around people but not necessarily interacting WITH people a lot. Ergo, when the children & I venture out to different parks, playgrounds, lakes & rivers I get absolutely giddy because it’s like our own special oasis away from the world- yet we’re together all the same!
