In The Potter’s Hands
For my 10 Year Wedding Anniversary, let’s take a look back at what my refinement has been like as a piece of clay in the Potter’s hands! Over the years, The Divine Potter has meticulously and miraculously molded me into His image so that I could become the Cristine I was created to be for God’s Glory! Over time, every squeeze of His hands applied just the right amount of pressure and was used to transform my ways and will to Christ’s likeness. It didn’t always feel good, to say the least, but a fire is meant to burn after all! Continue reading “In The Potter’s Hands”
Over It to Overjoyed!
Moving from “over it” to “overjoyed” is the difference between trusting in self and trusting in the Lord! With the combined roles of Daughter, Godly wife and homeschooling mom, I’ve come to recognize how my sole source of pure joy is from Christ alone and not self! Experientially, I’ve also learned that there’s no possible way for me deliver my duties with diligence without a keen insight into what my Heavenly Father’s desires are for me and my household. Moreover, there’s the added responsibility in upholding the position of friend, loving neighbor and faithful witness. Yes, we women wear many hats and that could seem overwhelming at times. Yet we can rejoice knowing we’re not left on our own! God’s Spirit instructs us in how to order your days aright while providing all we need to carry out those plans! And that is where genuine joy is found! Not that I follow every instruction perfectly, of course, but I can verify how peace is present when I do adhere to the Shepherd’s voice! Listening to Him over what I think best brings such simplicity and the utmost joy to life! Continue reading “Over It to Overjoyed!”
Loving Me Back to Life
Nothing compares to a sacred, God-ordained marriage where God is your first love and your husband is your second. It is a true blessing from above. And did you know that your marriage is your ministry? Being a Godly spouse is your God-given commission to give Him Glory as well as make you more like Him through the sanctification of the one-flesh union. Below I will share how I was taught this Truth by watching the actions of my husband towards me in the worst of times. And if anyone knows how much time, energy and effort goes into such a sacrifice, it is my husband!
Discipleship
Discipleship. This has been MAJOR in my life. A disciple is a student. In this case, I’m referring to being a follower of Jesus. Nothing compares to our relationship with God and the unquenchable longing to draw nearer still. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher. If you grant Him room, our Rabboni will lovingly instruct you. (This is the Hebrew word the first disciples used to call Yahushua their Teacher). Jesus desires for you to yearn for Him as to learn from Him. Matthew 11 says: “…learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart.” Continue reading “Discipleship”
“Trustful Toiling”
Will you take the risk a wise farmer does to work their field regardless of the unforeseen outcome? Spiritually speaking, let’s compare the farmer to followers of Christ. A good farmer will pour himself out in order to manage his land well. Comparably, Christians must exert energy in order to manage the land entrusted to them in the form of relationships. A healthy approach to most all problems relationally are resolved with much prayer, God’s grace to forgive and ask for forgiveness along with honest to goodness communication! The Lord has taught me how do that last one where I own my part within controversies with a heart for reconciliation.
Journey with me where I compare farmers to believers in how to handle things under our care accordingly: “God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19 Continue reading ““Trustful Toiling””
Capture Your Canvas And Let Your Life Be God’s Artwork!
Ones value and worth should not be praised at only the obvious times of one’s life which the world calls “milestones”. You know, I’m talking about the highlight reel of a person’s existence which Hallmark cards are made for! Continue reading “Capture Your Canvas And Let Your Life Be God’s Artwork!”
When Mommy needs a break!
Today, Mommy needed a day of rest according to Daddy & the children. My day of rest consists of prayer, digging into God’s Word, doing a study, listening to a message, journaling and corresponding with like minded people online all the while locked away in the bedroom. 😉 Well, not completely… I did leave the house once in order to fit in a walk after the rain passed!

Oh How Far We’ve Come!
I have something on my <3 this morning.
As I look over the past 10 years of my life as a married woman/engaged woman, I think upon how blessed I have been because of God’s grace & mercy through Jesus Christ & nothing less. I also think about how many struggles I had as a young, single mother those many years before this blessed matrimony came to be. And I thought upon how the fact that I got married did not nullify the fact that “in this life we will have troubles.” Continue reading “Oh How Far We’ve Come!”
When The Hubby Knows
“Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
Once he got off work, Daddy helped me take care of the children just because he knew; he just knew. I had a long, full day. (I battle with insomnia. And so I try to make it through as best I can.) It would probably be hard for just anyone to notice how tired I really am… but he knows. He just knows. Continue reading “When The Hubby Knows”
